I love finding feathers, sea glass, stones and shells. My collection keeps growing. Sometimes I rearrange them in place for others to discover.
Found feathers give me glimmers of hope and joy
Peacocks have lived in the neighborhood for 15 years, about a mile away. During lockdown when the world slowed down they finally found our house. They still visit us. We have learned Spanish peanuts are their favorite snack. Always cool when one will eat from my hand, sounds like a typewriter while plucking up the nuts. Their gifted feathers surround Alyssa’s painting.
I feel the love from above, plus her smile when I pick up a feather. She knows when I need some cheering up, plus a reminder of our forever connection.

Thank you Marjorie for your kindness in mentioning my writing. I think that you are very brave, and the true beauty is in the connections we form as writers and readers. So I will venture as far to say that as much as we may influence you, you also influence us and lift us up by sharing your truth. Thank you for sharing your writing and art with us all.
