Oh, Marjorie! This poem is a most precious one. Truly, it is a 'signature' poem for your newsletter for all that you write, for your why, and for the beloved memory of your cherished Alyssa. So beautiful! ✨💦💞💫🌊🌌💞✨ Also LOVE the new art 'looks'! I pick them ALL! You are so talented! Many blessing and MUCH LOVE for all the dimensions of YOU! HUGS! ~Wendy💜
Thank you Wendy for your input, I have slowly been sharing my backstory. I haven’t thought about a signature poem - great idea!
We each deal with grief differently. It is not my focus, it is the immense love that I want to convey & the wonderment all around. I need to find bits of joy every day. The early days and years were extremely hard to say the very least.
I am still experimenting with the lettering look.
It took me nearly 6 months after I came up with my newsletter to get it up and running due to my welcome letter - how much to share about why I write. I have been consistent ever since.
Thank you sooooo much Wendy for your love, encouragement, and continued support
Every post you make is a message of love and, that this love shines so brightly through your sorrow is a beautiful thing for all of us to see. You are so right, grief is different for everyone: our processing, time, and all of it, is unique to all of us. For me, it helps me navigate my own grief to hear others share their experiences…less alone, more hopeful in the living through it. I get that from your writing. It is a gift that you and Alyssa give. I am a grateful recipient.
Your art for your newsletter, those you are experimenting with…they all draw me in! Everything done with and for love has that ability. Looking forward to seeing what you decide to go with!
Awwwh thank you so much! There are days I don’t feel like one, maybe that is when my cape is at the dry cleaners 🙃😅🤣 good that I can still laugh. Amazing how poetry heals, glad to find more writers here. I look forward to your offerings 🙏☺️
The combination of symbols of nature and the soul has made good writing. I like
