What a lovely poem to discover here. And your peaceful video of the breaking wave with the flock of birds above. I watched as some birds decided to leave the larger group and go their own way. A visual metaphor for our times. May we all find our way home.

O…M…G!!! On this day, you don’t know, Marjorie, what a kindness like this means (no, check that…. I think you do know.) Today starts a new resolve to find and stay very close to my kindred spirit kin, to hold each other closely and warmly, and to remind ourselves of Dr. King’s plea—to keep our hands on the arc to insure it bends, always, toward justice. Thank you!

The poem, btw, is spot on beautiful and is its own northern star plea. Being a huge kin of the ocean myself, you had me just at the still frame of the waves. And you’re gonna have to write more about that volunteer job you have of helping Seniors move. Is that with a certain organization? Interested.

🌈Dr. King’s plea—to keep our hands on the arc to insure it bends, always, toward justice. 🌈 as soon as I read this totally saw another reason why rainbows form…. WoWza & Day ON!!!

When I was contemplating what offering to post on Monday I wasn’t thinking about the date of publication. Time is very fluid, my brain can skip over a week. Thank you for your share that brought the importance back and true meaning of today. 🙏☺️ Made it very easy to write my poem.

The still image is clouds that look like waves, I always love looking up at their wonderful formations.

I work a few times monthly for Senior Move Masters it is a paid position. My help really comes in with organizing their spaces with the eye of an artist. Downsizing can be mentally challenging, myself included.

I am still in the process of Swedish Death Cleaning, feels good to let go. Doing both really hits home what is important.

It takes a village- you are part of my writing journey

You are an exemplar of compassion. An angel among us with those selfless acts. knowing your humility, don’t argue—accept the fact you are who you are and that you have done compassionate deeds that have eased suffering. Thank you my friend—the benefit and blessing is mutual.

Beautiful poem. The clouds remind me that I can fly in my dreams. Perhaps I’ll find ways to soar in waking life.

Even getting one inch off the ground is an accomplishment. Noticing little bits of joy does that for me.
